Viols of Houston is made up of professional and amateur aficionados of the viola da gamba, a bowed, fretted string instrument. VoH sponsors several concerts a year, hosts workshops with visiting artists, and holds outreach gatherings that offer  information about and a chance to try playing the viol. We also provide private instruction and instrument rentals.
